We booked the holiday via the internet and the confirmation came very quickly. A few days later we received the vouchers and additional information including some useful suggestions regarding local facilities. We flew with Ryanair and rented a car via Hertz. The journey time to Boario took about 80 minutes following the excellent directions. The accommodation was roomy and clean and the staff were very helpful. It was within easy walking distance of the local shops and restaurants and a 20 minute drive to the ski slopes, although there was the option of using the bus. We sampled two of the restaurants suggested in the information provided and enjoyed them both. Although our children are good skiers my wife and I had never tried it before. The voucher scheme made the ski hire, lift passes and lessons very easy to sort out. Everyone was very helpful. The resort seemed to be suited to all levels of skier and was very friendly. We really enjoyed all aspects of our holiday and would love to return some time in the future.

This holiday was excellent value. Location beside the slopes could not have been better! The information and support given by the local rep (Alex) was exceptional. The accommodation was as described.

The break was absolutely fantastic!! The ski experience at Montecampione was unforgettable and the people are VERY friendly. We borrowed 4 pairs of gloves for 4 days free of charge and "hired" 2 ski goggles for 3 days for a cup of coffee per day!!! The inclusion of the ski pass made the trip very affordable and enabled us to spend more on ourselves during our vacation. You would not believe how beautiful the scenery is. The local travel agents at Monticolo Vacanze are very helpful and always available. Truely a great experience. We are already planning our next trip to Montecampione!!!

Everything about our holiday was good and most things exceeded our expectations. We found the process of booking easy and information easy to understand. Once on the holiday, the accomodation was fine and the staff superb. The kids and I had a great time. Thanks to everyone for their dedication.
Just to say, a good Holiday had by all the group. We had a great week in Montecampione Le Baite 1800. Snow conditions were excellent. We will definitely return in the near future. Tracy
Thank you for your help arranging our long weekend in Italy last week. We had an excellent time and as usual the Italian hospitality was first class. Just a quick note to say thanks for organising my recent holiday.
We just had a short break this time as you know - only 4 days.
I took my sister and her husband with me and they really enjoyed the holiday. they thought the food and accomodation were superb. They have holidayed previously in Italy, at lake Garda but thought the hotel Armonia outshone their previous hotels due to the family atmosphere and lovely staff. This was their first time skiing and my sister is a now a convert. Her husband couldn't master it but it was all the funnier for that.
I would appreciate if you could pass my thanks onto the owners whose names I never got.

Excellent value for money winter break with a comfortable hotel included. Montecampione offers a great ski range and good snow conditions. The break catered well for my party of 14 which included both skiers and snowboarders. I would recommend this to others looking for an affordable ski break.

Hotel was great and absolutely no problems at all with ski hire or ski passes It was a totally enjoyable hoilday. Ski rep Alex was very good. I would definetly use activity breaks again for booking a holiday, it was excellent and at a very reasonable price.

5 / 5 Superbly simple from start to finish. A brilliant price for a great holiday with absolutely no hidden extras. The hotel is simple but ideal for such a break, with wonderfully friendly staff and spotless rooms, each of which have Sky TV. The breakfast on offer is great, with a good choice and always some fresh options. The ski rental included is right at the foot of the main slope, with very recent looking gear as of 02/2011.
Very well organised short break that took all of the hassle out of having to buy lift passes and hire skis. The hotel was very accommodating of our late check-in and also helped us out with a lot with directions and recommendations despite the language barrier. Alex (Monticolo) was most helpful in liaising with the Mountain guides in organising additional activities, to the extent of calling us at the hotel to check whether there was anything else we would like him to do. His efforts were very much appreciated. I would definitely book with activity breaks again.
We had a great time and I wish we had a few more days to enjoy the skiing. Our 3 day trip was great value. I'm sure there are better resorts with better snow elsewhere, but I thought this place was great and it more than satisfied our needs for our short break. I found the mountain range beautiful, and there were times when I felt like I had the whole place to myself! I cannot imagine finding a better price for the package and the fab time we had.
